We stayed for seven nights during a yoga course. The rooms were very clean, the surroundings surrounded by nature and very peaceful. The food is very fresh, mostly from their own garden, from which they carefully select the vegetables they prepare. The staff was very pleasant, polite, and helpful. If you're looking for tranquility, a space to take care of yourself, and relax, this is a great place. When we were there, it was raining, the sun was shining, and the weather was changing rapidly; keep in mind that it can be chilly. We stayed at the end of June 2025.

Quiet paradise. Everything was a special experience. The environment, the food, the activities, the warmth of the people. All of them are amazing and make me want to come back . I was worried because I don't speak English very well, but the staff were very kind to me and I am grateful to them. I took part in some of the activities and I especially recommend the morning yoga and meditation. It makes you feel great. Terima kasih

Feel relaxed and rejuvenated after my 7 day spa package and have to return! What a beautiful tranquil place Bagus Jati is. Away from all the hustle and bustle and set amongst all the greenery with a team of the most friendly people!!! Love the yoga/meditation, amazing spa treatments and health delicious food. Room/villa is big too and private.

Absolutely amazing! Bali, the closest place to heaven 💓. I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve been here, but it’s already my favorite hotel, and I’ve come back 4-5 times now 💓 It’s a bit secluded, but you can feel the jungle vibes, which is fantastic! The facilities are well-maintained and convey a sense of history and natural richness! I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to connect with nature! The staff are all very attentive and provide great service! Many can speak Japanese, and it’s a rare hotel that has Japanese guidance within the facility 💓 The food is reasonably priced and delicious ♬ With yoga facilities, a spa, a pool, and more, the location is absolutely stunning, and you can take lots of memorable photos and videos 💓 Thank you so much! I will definitely come back!

Second visit. This resort is surrounded by the jungle and is far from the mundane world, so even on my second visit I was able to relax. The fresh vegetables, the delicious food, the smiles and consideration of the staff, and the Balinese feel of the chalets are soothing. Being here makes me feel like I'm in a small town, and it's very relaxing. The slopes are a challenge, but if you call for a buggy they'll come right away, so there's no inconvenience. The massages are also recommended because the techniques are excellent. Tipping is not compulsory in Bali, but I would like to give a tip to the staff for their consideration, so I asked the front desk if they could break down the bills for me, but unfortunately they didn't have any small bills. I think it's a good idea to prepare some money for tips in advance when you want to express your gratitude. I would definitely like to visit again.

Words cannot describe how beautiful this place is! My stay in here was short but memorable. Special thanks to the staff for being very courteous. They maintain the grounds very nicely. This resort is nestled on a few acres of rolling green hills. It's almost 2 hours from the airport but it's worth the drive. The seclusion and tranquility of this place is top notch. It's a huge property so you can explore the grounds at your hearts content. I give this place 5 stars especially for the value. I paid about $74 USD per night! Insane amount of value for a peaceful resort. Breakfast was included as well as a shuttle to get to Ubud.

Peaceful & Nurturing. Upon landing in Bali I was a little worried that I hadn’t made a great decision - the traffic is hectic and it’s all very busy. BUT when I (finally) arrived at Bagus Jati, I was pleasantly surprised. The resort is set in the jungle with a beautiful cool breeze blowing and absolute peace and quiet. Set on the side of a hill, the villas are private and gorgeous. My favorite thing was my morning coffee on the balcony in the cool morning air. I was there on the spa package and the spa was one of the best I’ve ever been to. Every single staff member took such beautiful care of me and I was able to completely check out from the hustle of daily life. Food was fantastic, yoga was amazing with a special mention to Goosti who taught a fantastic class and helped me to develop my yoga. All the grounds are beautifully kept and the pool was a great place to spend the day. I wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend to anyone who is needing a bubble of peace.

Blissfully relaxing, magical, perfect for nature for lovers. The most beautiful location, the sound of the jungle was just magical, you could literally just sit and look at it all day, nature at its best ❤️. Not so much the location but we hadn’t considered the damp, you’re in the jungle and near the river so everything gets very damp, even walking up in the mornings your bedding feels damp, that said, I would go back here without a second thought.

I stayed for 3 nights and it was amazing. You can enjoy yoga, meditation, various activities, pool and massage in a real jungle. The hotel grounds are huge and you can spend the whole day on the grounds. Just being at the hotel is healing. The staff are kind and there are many solo travelers, so I was able to interact with them through activities. I want to go again.

Everything about the resort is exceptional! The location, the villas, the people and staff, the food and the spa. It was a truly relaxing experience in the middle of nowhere. Would definitely visit again. Although it's a bit expensive - I don't mind paying for the kind of service and facilities and the experience that we get. Don't miss out on the free daily activities - like morning yoga, canang making, free afternoon tea by the pool side along with the chit-chat with yoga masters Buddha and Gusti. Do try out the jacuzzi and the sauna at the spa - it's free as well. Also recommend to try the sejati massage at the spa. Highly recommended!

Heavenly stay at Bagus Jati. The decor is magnificent, our room was as spacious as an apartment. The staff is amazing and the food is excellent. Incredible place in the heart of the jungle. very high level of service. The most beautiful Lanshavd I've ever seen. There were 11 of us, the rooms are not new, but always clean and comfortable. “A magical place”. Bagus Jati offers a very peaceful and serene space, so conducive to relaxation, so good for body and mind. This is my second time around, and I will be back to enjoy this magical place again. The staff are happy and friendly. The villas are comfortable, private and spacious, surrounded by lush greenery. There is a good selection of vegetarian food at the restaurant.
